He gained prominence and international recognition with his band named 'Vital Signs'. The first album was launched in 1987 from which Dil Dil Pakistan made Junaid Jamshed mount the peak of fame. Dil Dil Pakistan is called the second national anthem of Pakistan now. The commercial success of Vital Signs' first album helped develop Pakistan's rock music industry. In 2004, Junaid Jamshed took major decision of leaving music career and devoted himself to the path of religion, Islam. This period made him emerge as an Islamic scholar and preacher.  Junaid Jamshed's Death Junaid Jamshed was on his mission to preach Islam in different regions of Pakistan. His second wife Nahya Junaid was also on this journey along with him.  The couple died on 7th December 2016 when PIA Flight 661 crashed in Havelian. The flight was en route to Islamabad from Chitral.  Junaid Jamshed's Children Junaid Jamshed has left behind three sons and a daughter. His sons stay active on social media and they are also trying to follow the path of their father. His sons are named as Babar Junaid Jamshed, Taimoor, and Saifullah.
