ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has convened an important meeting later today (Monday) to review various complaints of rigging across the country.

The meeting, to be chaired by Chief Election Commissioner Fakhruddin G Ibrahim, would also take up reports submitted by concerned polling officers.

PTI, Jamaat-e-Islami, Muhajir Qaumi Movement-Haqeeqi (MQM-H), Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan (JUP) announced to boycott in Karachi and Hyderabad over vote-rigging by their political opponents.

A protest by PTI workers in Lahore was still underway today since Sunday night.
