ISLAMABAD: Election Commission has issued new directives about the coming general elections.
Candidates cannot seek votes on the basis of religion or sect and also cannot provide free transport to fetch or drop the voters to polling stations.
No one is allowed to carry out the ballot papers out of polling stations. Similarly forceful eviction of voters from polling stations will be considered a crime. Candidates cannot establish polling camps within 4 hundred yards of the polling stations.
