Are you Wondering how to check or register your vote for General Elections 2018?

Now you can register and check your vote online in Pakistan for General Elections 2018.

As many as 104,267,581 people across Pakistan will be entitled to cast their votes on July 25, 2018, electing their representatives for the National Assembly as well as four Provincial Assemblies.

In Pakistan, for a person to become eligible to be a voter in an electoral area requires; Pakistani Citizenship, age not less than 18 years, possession of Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC), sound mind, and residence in the electoral area.

If a Pakistani Citizen is registered as a voter in an electoral area but living abroad, he/she can only cast his/her vote if he/she is present in Pakistan at the time of the election. In this article, you can find information about how to check your vote.

How to register a vote?

If a Pakistani Citizen having filled all the eligibility requirements is willing to register him/her self as a voter, he can submit his/her application along with a CNIC copy to the District Election Commissioner (DEC)/ Registration Officer/Assistant Registration Officer of the district where he/she wants to get his/her name enrolled.

• The prescribed Form (Enrolment / Transfer of Vote) is available online at the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) website or they can be obtained free of cost from the office of the District Election Commissioner / Registration Officer or Assistant Registration Officer/Display Centre Incharge.

Note: The deadline for the registration of votes in the electoral lists for the 2018 general elections set by the ECP was April 30.

How to check your vote online? 

The registration of vote can be verified in two ways;

1. By entering CNIC number (without dash) and sending the text message to the number 8300.
2. By visiting the relevant District Election Commissioner’s office where final lists are available.

نیشنل ڈیٹا بیس اور رجسٹریشن اتھارٹی (نادرا)، انتخابی کمیشن آف پاکستان (ای سی پی) کے تعاون سے، اہل ووٹرز کے لئے اپنی رجسٹریشن کی حیثیت اور پولنگ اسٹیشن سے متعلق معلومات کو چیک کرنے کے لئے ایک ایس ایم ایس سروس شروع کردی ہے.

قابل ووٹر 8300 تک اپنے کمپیوٹرڈائزڈ نیشنل شناختی کارڈ (سی این آئی سی) نمبر (ڈیش کے بغیر) کے ذریعہ ٹیکسٹ پیغام بھیج کر اپنے ووٹ کو چیک کر سکتے ہیں.

جواب پیغام میں ان معلومات پر مشتمل ہوگا جس کا نام، اور انتخابی علاقہ. اس پیغام میں ابتدائی انتخابی رولوں میں رجسٹرڈ ووٹرز کی سیریل نمبر بھی شامل ہے.

ووٹ رجسٹر کرنے کا طریقہ
18 اپریل سے زائد آبادی شہریوں کو 30 اپریل سے قبل سی این آئی سی کی نقل کے قریب ڈسٹرکٹ ڈسٹرکٹ الیکشن کمشنر / رجسٹریشن آفس / اسسٹنٹ رجسٹریشن آفس کو ایک درخواست جمع کر کے ووٹ رجسٹر کرسکتے ہیں.

فارم ای سی سی کی ویب سائٹ پر آن لائن دستیاب ہے یا ڈسٹرکٹ الیکشن کمشنر / رجسٹریشن آفیسر یا اسسٹنٹ رجسٹریشن آفیسر / ڈسپلے سینٹر کے انچارج کے دفتر سے لے کر مفت قیمت حاصل کی جاسکتی ہے.

اہلیت
اگر کسی شخص کو انتخابی علاقے میں ووٹر کے طور پر داخلہ لینے کا اہل ہونا ہو گا

(ا) پاکستان کا ایک شہری ہے؛

(ب) اتھارٹی سال سے کم نہیں ہے؛

(ج) نیشنل ڈیٹا بیس اور رجسٹریشن اتھارٹی نے کسی بھی وقت جاری کردہ قومی شناختی کارڈ کو دعوے، اعتراضات اور انتخابی رولوں کی تیاری، نظر ثانی یا اصلاح کے لئے ایپلی کیشنز کے لئے مقرر کردہ آخری دن تک جاری رکھی ہے.

(ڈی) ایک قابل عدالت عدالت کی طرف سے اعلان نہیں کیا جاتا ہے کہ وہ بے نظیر دماغ سے رہیں. اور

(ای) سیکشن 27 میں رہنے والے سیکشن 27 کے تحت یا سمجھا جاتا ہے.
