ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Human Rights Shireen Mazari has said that effective legislation is being done to stop domestic violence in the Country.

While addressing a ceremony in Islamabad, the minister said that cooperation of international human rights organizations will be welcomed to improve the rights of women and children in Pakistan.

Shireen Mazari said that positive change can be brought by public-private partnership to improve human rights situation in the Country.

The minister said that non registration of children in rural areas of the Country is a major hurdle in dealing with the rights issue.
