Astana, Kazakhstan: The VII Eurasian Forum of leaders of higher education is taking place in Nazarbayev University, Astana which is attended by experts from 11 countries.
According to a report of Kazinform, the Forum is attended by representatives of universities, scientists and top managers from 11 countries around the world who are discussing social and technological changes affecting higher education on the way to its development under rapidly changing conditions.
The event is symbolically links with 20th anniversary of the city of Astana which is a new capital of Kazakhstan and hub of international connectivity and higher level of diplomacy.
The VII Eurasian Forum of leaders of higher education was addressed by Gulshara Naushaqyzy Abdiqalyqova who is the Secretary of State of Kazakhstan. She during her inaugural address said that NU had won special recognition in the global university community and is the founder of the Alliance of Asian Universities.
The Forum aims to bring together education stakeholders to share their ideas and engage in lively debates on issues that higher education leaders are facing worldwide. The theme of this year Forum is This year, we have come up with a series of inte “Innovating Higher Education in the Age of Disruption”. The participants of the Forum will get know the activities of the business incubator and business accelerator, the commercialization office and the infrastructure of Technopark.
