MUZAFFARABAD, Pakistan: The students of different colleges of Muzaffarabad on Tuesday kept the main artery of the city blocked for many hours, protesting against intermediate board for allegedly giving them wrong marks in the intermediate examination and torture by police.
Students claimed numerous mistakes have been detected in the results of intermediate examinations, recently announced by the board.
More than two hundred students of the different colleges brought out a rally from Model Science College Upper Chatter to the middle of the city at old civil Secretariat compound. At this place, clash between students and police invited reaction by students who prolonged the protest.
The traffic in city remained jam during peak hours and till the police bosses announced to suspend those police personnel who manhandled the protesting students.
On this assurance, the students dispersed but giving a deadline for resolution of their problem and getting papers re-checked.
