RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has approved the new recruitment policy under which 17,480 new Educators (Teachers) and 960 Assistant Education Officers (AEOs) will be recruited across the province.
Moreover under the new recruitment policy, 3 numbers will be awarded to each Candidate having acquired B.Ed or M.Ed degree while 5 numbers will be given for interview.
The entry test will be held in December 2017 for which acquisition of 50 marks will be must.
The District Recruitment Selection Committees will carry out new recruitments. The Committees will be headed by Deputy Commissioners whereas their members will include Chief Executives Officers (CEOs), District Education Officers (DEOs), District Monitoring Officers (DMOs), and a government-nominated representative.
Both Science and Arts Teachers will be recruited for which master degrees in Urdu, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Islamiat, Political Science, Education, and Statistics will be required.
Under the new recruitment policy, the age limit of 38 has been determined for females, 35 for males while disabled persons being under 40 years of age will be eligible to apply. All recruitments will be completed by February 15.
In Rawalpindi district, 3,000 Educators and 61 Assistant Education Officers will be recruited.
