ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Minister for Federal Education Shafqat Mahmood on Wednesday visited different Schools in Islamabad and reviewed the compliance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) there.
In his remarks on the occasion, the education minister expressed his pleasure over the resumption of educational activities in the Country.
Shafqat Mahmood said that it is our collective responsibility to adhere to the precautionary measures against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, under the final phase of the reopening of Educational Institutions, Public and Private Sector Schools have resumed primary level classes from today
The educational institutions have been directed to ensure strict compliance of the SOPs including the use of masks and hand sanitizers besides social distancing to avoid the spread of Coronavirus.
In addition, the Federal Secretary Education Farah Hamid Khan and the Parliamentary Secretary for Federal Education Wajiha Qamar also separately visited various Primary Schools in the Capital and reviewed the SOPs devised to mitigate the impact of COVID-19.
