RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: As many as 16,973 Educators and 10,000 Assistant Education Officers (AEOs) will be recruited in Punjab soon.

As per Daily Express, an approval has been given under the new recruitment policy in Punjab which will facilitate the recruitment of 16,973 Educators and 10,000 Assistant Education Officers including 8,252 male teachers and 8,720 female teachers across the province.

The daily reported that holding a master’s degree has been declared mandatory for new recruitment while candidates having FA and BA degrees will be ineligible to apply.

An entry test will be conducted for new recruitments, and candidates must secure 60 numbers for AEOs and 50 numbers for educators.

Likewise, males under 35 years of age and females under 38 years of age will be eligible to apply while 40-year age limit has been fixed for disabled persons. Candidates could submit their forms by November 15.

For arts teachers, master’s degrees in Urdu, English, Math, Social Studies and Islamiat are mandatory.
