It may be mentioned that a delegation of professors and lawyers from India is visiting Lahore. On February 18, 2023, Advocate Sardar Gurvinder Singh Sidhu and Advocate Sardar Gurshminder Singh from Chandigarh visited Islamia College Civil Lines Lahore.

It is pertinent to mention that today’s Government Islamia College Civil Lines was Dayanand Anglo Vedic College before the division of the Indo-subcontinent. Founded by Arya Samaj as the school of Dayanand Anglo Vedic on June 1, 1886, it was later renamed Dayanand Anglo Vedic (DAV) College after the name of Hindu leader Dayananda Saraswati.
