ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: National Book Foundation (NBF) will open book shops in various educational institutions to facilitate students with affordable books.    

A senior official of the NBF told APP that by virtue of its mandate, the Foundation is very important for dissemination of knowledge, literacy and education among people far and wide in the country.

He said that NBF will spread knowledge and education particularly in our youth by opening up outlets in universities and colleges across the country.

He said the Foundation had published some 300 books till date while it had planned to publish around 1000 standard books.
