ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Keeping the tradition alive, the Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) in Islamabad on Friday started Monsoon Plantation drive 2020 to plant maximum plants so as to Pakistan green and clean.

The plantation drive was inaugurated by the QAU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Ali Shah in Islamabad where the Director-General Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency (Pak-EPA) Farzana Altaf Shah, members of QAU Syndicate, faculty, employees and senior members of the QAU Alumni Association were also present on the occasion.

Like previous years, the Quaid-i-Azam University Alumni Association in collaboration with the Pak-EPA, Government of Pakistan, Directorates of Estate Management, and Student Affairs QAU Islamabad under Green and Clean Pakistan campaign would plant 3,000 plants at QAU campus at its affiliated Colleges across the Federal Capital.Quaid-i-Azam University - Keeping the tradition alive, Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) in Islamabad on Friday started Monsoon Plantation drive 2020 to plant maximum plants so as to Pakistan green and clean. Professor Dr. Muhammad Ali Shah emphasized over active participation in making Pakistan green and clean individually and collectively. The QAU Vice-Chancellor said that the massive tree plantation would further add to the natural scenic beauty of Quaid-I-Azam University Islamabad.

Speaking on the occasion, the Vice-Chancellor appreciated two decades the long contribution of the QAU Alumni Association for its alma mater.

Professor Dr. Muhammad Ali Shah emphasized over active participation in making Pakistan green and clean individually and collectively.

The QAU Vice-Chancellor said that the massive tree plantation would further add to the natural scenic beauty of the Quaid-I-Azam University.
