ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) is all set to start montessori classes in 200 public schools of the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) under Phase-II of the Prime Minister’s Education Reforms Programme.
The montessori classes has already been started in 21 public educational institutions of the Islamabad which aims to bring children of 3 to 5 years of age into public sectors school, Maiza Hameed, Parliamentary Secretary for CADD Wednesday said.
She said the project of montessori classes would be initiated in all 422 ICT schools under Prime Minister’s Education Reforms Programme with an aim to provide the best facilities by utilizing maximum resources.
In this regard, she said the government is all set to release Rs 3 billion to CADD for upgradation of next 200 schools under Phase-II of the programme.
The public schools would also provide upgraded educational and health facilities to the children which include school enrolment targets, provision of missing facilities, setting up of new educational institutions, teachers training and computerized system that will monitor all educational institutions.
