LAHORE, Pakistan: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has extended the last date to apply online for the award of laptop under the Prime Minister Laptop Scheme till January 10, 2016.

The Commission’s officials at the Lahore regional office told APP on Tuesday that students could register themselves at the Student Service Portal (http://pmnls.hec.gov.pk) till the last date.

Meanwhile, those students who already got themselves registered also may update their application status at the Student Service Portal (http://pmnls.hec.gov.pk).

The HEC advised those who had applied for obtaining laptop to contact the focal persons of their respective universities for verification of data.

The registration of the students of polytechnical institutes, govt. colleges of technology and the colleges under the Federal Directorate of Education is still open and the last date will be announced later by the authorities.
