GILGIT, Pakistan: The first-ever Gilgit-Baltistan Career Festival kicked off in Gilgit on Monday aimed at to create awareness amongst the students and infuse motivation in them to succeed in life.

The four-day event is being held at historic Government Boys High School No 1 Gilgit from August 15 to 18, 2022 under the under the aegis of the Gilgit-Baltistan government.

The main purpose of organizing the Gilgit-Baltistan Career Festival is three folds:

  • Awareness: To create awareness amongst the students of various age groups about the different career paths available to them in the changing modern world.
  • Motivation: To motivate children to find their passion in life so that they can excel in their future careers
  • Inspiration: To allow the students to interact with thought leaders and experts from different walks of life who can inspire them to become the leaders of tomorrow.

The Career Festival will feature an exhibition allowing various organizations to setup their stalls to showcase their institutions and provide a space for one-on-one interaction with students.

Besides, it will also include talks/speeches by nominated speakers sharing their life experience, motivational real-life stories, and career choices with students.

The festival is expected to be attended by more than 10,000 students from across Gilgit-Baltistan over the four days.
