ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Minister for Federal Education Shafqat Mahmood on Thursday said the government had decided to reopen educational institutions across the Country from September 15, 2020.
In a Press Conference in Islamabad, Shafqat Mahmood said that all educational institutions including Schools, Colleges, and Universities would be reopened from September 15 with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
However, he said the decision would be reviewed in August or at the beginning of September if the Coronavirus situation deteriorated.
“If conditions related to the health don’t get better then they will not open educational institutes,” he said.
It’s worth noting that all educational institutions across the Country remain shut since mid-March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
