BAHAWALPUR, Pakistan: The Islamabad-based Center for Global & Strategic Studies (CGSS) and Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Bahawalpur on Thursday.

The Vice President CGSS Major General (retd) Hafiz Masroor Ahmed and the Vice-Chancellor Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) Dr. Athar Mahboob signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations.

The Senior Member Advisory Board CGSS Brigadier (retd) Abdullah Khan, the Senior Head of Departments at IUB, and the Faculty Members were also present on the occasion.CGSS - The Islamabad-based Center for Global & Strategic Studies (CGSS) and Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Bahawalpur on Thursday. Under the MoU, both the institutions agreed to facilitate cooperation in academic research. It was decided that CGSS and the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) will work together to promote joint research projects on agreed fields for developing a sound cooperation in the future.  Furthermore, both the institutions will work and explore opportunities to involve the academia in the multilateral fields. It was decided that the CGSS will link the Islamia University of Bahawalpur with various international universities and will also initiate student exchange programs.

Under the MoU, both the institutions agreed to facilitate cooperation in academic research.

It was decided that CGSS and the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) will work together to promote joint research projects on agreed fields for developing a sound cooperation in the future.
