ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Education & Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood has said that the Uniform Curriculum would be enforced throughout the Country by April 2021.

While addressing a Press Conference in Islamabad on Friday, Shafqat Mahmood said that they have put efforts to develop a Uniform Education Curriculum.

The minister said that the Uniform Curriculum from Class One to Five has been developed with consultation, and there would be only one Curriculum in all Schools across Pakistan in April next year.

Uniform Curriculum - The Federal Minister for Education & Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood has said that the Uniform Curriculum would be enforced throughout the Country by April 2021. Shafqat Mahmood said that they are developing a Model Text which would reflect their Curriculum. The federal minister further said that Pakistan took positive steps to deal with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The minister said that the Ministry of Health has been working to devise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the opening of Schools. Shafqat Mahmood said that a meeting with the Provincial Education Ministers would take place on September 7 to take stock of issues related to the opening of Schools.

Shafqat Mahmood said that they are developing a Model Text which would reflect their Curriculum.

The federal minister further said that Pakistan took positive steps to deal with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Shafqat Mahmood said that a meeting with the Provincial Education Ministers would take place on September 7 to take stock of issues related to the opening of Schools on September 15.
