ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: All examinations across Pakistan have been posted till June 15 in the wake of the third wave of COVID-19, as per the decision taken in the meeting of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).

Briefing the media in Islamabad on Thursday after the NCOC meeting presided over by the Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Asad Umar, the Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood told that it has been decided that O and A Levels exams have also been postponed till October/November 2021.

However, A2 exams will be held under strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Shafqat Mahmood told that Cambridge has been directed to ensure that from Monday onwards, not more than 50 students will be allowed to sit in Examination Centres.

The education minister said that the assistance of law enforcement agencies (LEAs) will be sought to ensure the compliance of SOPs outside the Examination Centres.

The minister said that Universities will release the schedule of the admission in accordance with the exam schedule.
