ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will open its admissions for Semester Autumn 2016 from SSC to PhD-level in various disciplines from August 1.

Talking to media, spokesman of the AIOU said that AIOU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Shahid Siddiqui has directed the admission department to provide maximum facilities to the applicants in getting the admission as well as ensuring availability of admission forms at the nearest places.

The Vice Chancellor also approved setting up points at Regional Campuses and Coordinating Offices for sale of admission forms, AIOU spokesman said.

Dr Shahid Siddiqui also advised all Regional Directors to set up special camps at their offices for the guidance of the students.

The admission forms and prospectus will be available from the sale-points of the university’s main campus.
