ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Wednesday announced the re-polling schedule for three National Assembly and two provincial assembly constituencies which include NA-41, NA-46, NA-269, PK-71 and PK-72.

The re-polling comes as a result of complaints made my political parties. Different parties alleged that rigging took place on the day of general elections.

Re-polling will be held at select polling stations in NA-269 Khuzdar, NA-41 Tribal Area 6 (Birmal, Waha, Trikhel and Tiaraza tehsils of South Waziristan Agency) and NA-46 Tribal Area 11 (Bara Tehsil of Khyber Agency). The provincial seats are PK-71 Bannu 2 and PK-72 Bannu 3.

The schedule is:

NA-41 – May 21

NA-46 – May 25

NA-269 – May 21

PK-71 – May 25

PK-72 – May 25

The commission had earlier directed returning officers to hold re-elections at 43 polling stations of NA-250 Karachi on May 19.
