The last Tax Amnesty Scheme was announced by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government in 2019 and promulgated through an Act of Parliament titled as “Assets Declaration Ordinance, 2019” passed on May 14, and was valid till June 30, 2019.
The number of new (more) taxpayers brought into tax net, thereafter is detailed in the table as here under:
