The amount of loans taken by the previous government led by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) from August 2018 to April 2022, is US$ 47,105.85 million as per the following details:

Foreign loans & aid received by PDM government

The total amount of foreign Loans and aid received by the present government of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), during the period from April 11, 2022 to September 30, 2022, amounts to US$ 5,665.83 million whereas disbursement received against loans is US$ 5,609.92 million, and disbursement received against grants is US$ 55.92 million.
