NationalE-Pension system to be introduced in all federal government departments

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: E-Pension (automated) system will be introduced in all the federal departments soon to benefit millions of federal government employees for completion of their pension papers before their retirement.

This was revealed by Grievance Commissioner for Overseas Pakistanis, Federal Ombudsman Secretariat, Hafiz Ahsaan Ahmad Khokhar while talking to the state-run news agency.

This initiative would help ensure early finalization of the pension cases of the federal government employees, Hafiz Ahsaan said.

He said a meeting was held at Federal Ombudsman Secretariat Tuesday in this regard with the senior officials of Ministry of Finance, Establishment Division, Accountant General of Pakistan for introducing E-Pension (automated) system in all federal government departments.

With the efforts of Federal Ombudsman, Hafiz Ahsaan said, the pension cases of the employees will be finalized within time frame of 30 days which has never been held before.

The next meeting on the subject will be held on November 23 in Federal Ombudsman Secretariat, he added.
