ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Ministry of Education, Training and Standards in Higher Education would finalize the initial draft of `Education Policy 2016′ by the mid of the next month and share with provinces for a debate.

According to the official source, the draft of the policy would be uploaded on the website so that the general public can give their suggestions to make it more viable for the future generations.

The ministry has involved 18 education experts to finalize the first draft of the education policy and the draft is in its final stages.

The revised education policy will be in line with Sustainable Development Goals and 18th amendment of the constitution.

While it would also pay more focus on Article 25-A of the constitution which bounds the state to provide free education to the children from 5-16 years of age.
