ISLAMABAD: The United Kingdom has assured its full support to election process in Pakistan, saying that timely and fair elections are vital for sustainability of democratic system in Pakistan, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on Tuesday.
The UK will provide all possible assistance to Pakistan for holding transparent elections, British High Commissioner to Pakistan Adam Thomson told media.
Thomson said Britain is keeping close eyes on the elections process in Pakistan which will also play an important role in further strengthening bilateral ties.
The British envoy further said his country does not support any particular party in the elections.
