ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan Takashi Kurai called on the Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Pir Sadaruddin Rashidi in Islamabad on Thursday and exchanged views of mutual interests and bilateral relations.
During the meeting, both sides expressed their satisfaction on the existing excellent relations between Pakistan and Japan. They said that both the countries have similar views on International issues including terrorism.
The federal minister appreciated Japanese assistance being given in various areas like social, educational and health projects etc. He also appreciated and acknowledged Japan assistance on the occasion of natural calamities like earthquake and floods.
The minister also requested the ambassador of Japan to explore possibilities with his government for import of Pakistani manpower.
