ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: A Fashion Show devoted to the 70th Independence Anniversary of Pakistan was held at Ritz Carlton Hotel in Moscow on Tuesday evening.

Pakistan Fashion Show, the first ever in Russia, was a very colorful and powerful presentation of Pakistan’s culture in Moscow.

​The Fashion Show was organized by a prominent Pakistani businessman Shahzad Shaikh in collaboration with the Embassy of Pakistan Moscow, said a press release issued by the Foreign Office in Islamabad.

More than 300 guests including senior Russian government officials, ambassadors, media personnel, poets, writers and members of Pakistan community attended the event.

Pakistan’s famous designer Cheena Chhapra and Arsalan Iqbal presented their impressive Collection at the Fashion Show in collaboration with Russian models.

​​Speaking on the occasion, Pakistan’s ambassador to the Russian Federation Khalilullah Qazi highlighted the significance of Pakistan’s 70th Independence Anniversary, Quaid-e-Azam’s vision of Pakistan, Country’s achievements and Pakistan’s agenda of promoting peace, friendship, love and harmony, moderation, connectivity, development and prosperity.

​Speaking about Pakistan Russia relations, the ambassador underscored that the leadership of both Pakistan and Russia fully supported further deepening of the mutually beneficial, close, friendly and cooperative relations existing between Pakistan and Russia.
