DHAKA, Bangladesh: The High Commissioner of Pakistan to Bangladesh Imran Ahmed Siddiqui visited Dargah Hazrat Shah Jalal in Sylhet on Friday.

Imran Ahmed Siddiqui prayed at the Dargah Mosque and met Fatullah Al Aman, the Custodian of the Dargah.

The High Commissioner presented a Quranic Calligraphy by the former Naqqash of Masjid Al Nabvi Al Sharif Asghar Ali for the Dargah.

The High Commissioner paid high tributes to Hazrat Shah Jalal, who was an eminent ISLAMIC SCHOLAR and Sufi Saint of the 13th Century. He immensely contributed to the promotion of Islam in the region.

Hazrat Shah Jalal is widely revered in Pakistan as a great Sufi saint of South Asia.
