TRINCOMALEE, Sri Lanka: Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Major General (retd) Muhammad Saad Khattak held a meeting with the Governor of Sri Lanka’s Eastern Province Anuradha Yahampath at her Office in Trincomalee last week, the English daily The Island reported.
The High Commissioner held detailed discussions on all areas of mutual interest between the two Countries including assistance which can be provided by Pakistan to the Sri Lankan Eastern Province.
They also explored opportunities to enhance bilateral economic, educational, cultural, tourism and people to people links, with the eastern part of Sri Lanka.

Anuradha Yahampath warmly welcomed the High Commissioner Major General (retd) Muhammad Saad Khattak on his first visit to the Eastern Province after assuming duties and thanked the government and people of Pakistan for their consistent support and assistance for the Province and the Country.
