OTTAWA, Canada: The Chinese Ambassador to Canada Lu Shauye has said that Pakistan is an important Country for China and the exemplary friendship between the two Countries is envy for other nations.

In a meeting with the High Commissioner of Pakistan Tariq Azim Khan at the Pakistan High Commission in the Canadian Capital Ottawa, the Chinese envoy informed him that the Chinese government is holding a high level international conference in May this year and 25 heads of states are expected to participate to explore opportunities related to the regional trade.Tariq Azim Khan and Chinese Ambassador to Canada Lu Shauye

In his remarks, Tariq Azim Khan welcomed the newly arrived Chinese ambassador to Canada, and said that he would be pleased to work with the Chinese Counterpart.

Pakistan’s High Commissioner said that the importance of strategic relations between the two countries is at the heart of Pakistan’s foreign policy.

Tariq Azim said that the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will bring dividends not only to China and Pakistan but will enable people from all countries of the region to share progress, prosperity and development.
