PORT LOUIS, Mauritius: The High Commissioner of Pakistan Syed Zahid Raza to Republic of Mauritius presented ‘Letter of Credence’ to the President of the Republic of Mauritius Prithvirajsing Roopun at State House, Reduit.
After the presentation of Credentials, the High Commissioner had a tête-à-tête with the President of Mauritius.
The High Commissioner conveyed greetings of the President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

While expressing gratitude for the message of goodwill from President Zardari and Prime Minister Shahbaz, President Prithvirajsing Roopun the expressed his desire to consolidate the bilateral relations especially in the field of trade, investment, culture, tourism and education. He also emphasized to increase highest level of political engagements.
The High Commissioner shared his vision of strengthening bilateral relation between the two countries which focuses on trade, people to people contacts and cultural diplomacy.
Syed Zahid Raza briefed President Prithvirajsing Roopun on Pakistan’s ‘Engage Africa Policy’ according to which Pakistan desires to actively engage with all African States and to further expand its scope.
Both sides expressed satisfaction at existing level of cooperation between with two Countries and vowed to further strengthen these relations.
