OTTAWA, Canada: The High Commissioner of Pakistan Tariq Azim Khan has assured Pakistani Origin Students in Canada of full support for their plan of activities to promote true image of Pakistan in the Canadian Society.

In a meeting with a delegation of Pakistan Students Association (PSA) University of Ottawa, Tariq Azim said that Pakistanis students must avail the life changing opportunities offered by post-secondary education at the Canadian Universities.

Pakistani Origin Students in Canada briefed the High Commissioner on their plans

The High Commissioner said that Pakistani Origin Students should actively participate in local and international events at the Universities to promote true perspective of Pakistan.

Tariq Azim emphasized that it is important to actively participate in the communities in which we live, to promote good will between our two Countries and promote the positive contributions of Canadians of Pakistani origin in our society.

The Students briefed the High Commissioner on the activities they plan to promote understanding of Pakistani culture among the Canadian and international students of the University.
