ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Executive Director Center for Global and Strategic Studies (CGSS) Lieutenant Colonel (retd) Khalid Taimur Akram visited the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Islamabad on Thursday and met the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Pakistan His Excellency Ismatullo Nasredin.

During the meeting, matters of mutual interest were discussed and how to further expand cooperation among various institutions of Tajikistan and Pakistan.

It was decided that the CGSS will act as a bridge between Area Study Center – University of Peshawar and The Center for Strategic Researches under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan for joint research related activities.

Furthermore, the CGSS in collaboration with the Tajik Embassy in Islamabad will jointly organize cultural and art related activities.

The First Secretary at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Islamabad Mr. Bahodur Buriev and the Director CGSS Ms. Mehreen Gul were also present in the meeting.
