ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Pakistan H.E. Brigadier General (retd) Sakib Foric hosted a reception at Serena Hotel in Islamabad on Monday on the occasion of National Day and Armed Forces Day of Bosnia.

The Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Pakistan H.E. Brigadier General (retd) Sakib Foric hosted a reception at Serena Hotel in Islamabad on Monday on the occasion of National Day and Armed Forces Day of Bosnia.

Ambassador Brigadier General (retd) Sakib Foric in his welcome address explained deep-rooted bilateral relations of his country with Pakistan are linked with UN peacekeeping troops of Pakistan Army when his country was facing purge by enemies. He stated that he believes (believed) that bilateral relations of both countries are nor transferring to net generation.

The Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Pakistan H.E. Brigadier General (retd) Sakib Foric hosted a reception at Serena Hotel in Islamabad on Monday on the occasion of National Day and Armed Forces Day of Bosnia.

Bosnian Ambassador Sakib Foric thanked the participants while acknowledging the efforts of Pakistan and support it rendered at the harsh time on Bosnian nations.

The event also aimed to mark the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

The diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Bosnia & Herzegovina were established in 1992 when Pakistan recognized the independence of Bosnia from Yugoslavia.

A large number of diplomats, senior officials of armed services politicians, senior bureaucrats and businessmen attended.
