ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Islamabad-based Center for Global & Strategic Studies (CGSS) arranged a Video Conference with Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Pakistan His Excellency Furqat A. Sidikov to discuss future avenues of collaboration between the Embassy of Uzbekistan and the Center.
During the Video Conference, the Executive Director CGSS Lt. Colonel (retd) Khalid Taimur, Uzbekistan’s Ambassador Furqat Sidikov, and the Center Management spoke.
The ambassador appreciated the CGSS’ efforts to strengthen Pakistan-Uzbekistan ties through various initiatives like the motivational art competition, “Defeating COVID-19” and by publishing articles related to Uzbekistan.
Furthermore, it was decided that the Center and the Embassy of Uzbekistan will arrange more competitions, lectures, and other activities to engage and connect the students of Uzbekistan and Pakistan.
