Lahore, Pakistan: Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif left Lahore on Sunday for Turkey in the first leg of his four-nation tour.
He is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi.
Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will visit Türkiye, Iran, Azerbaijan, and Tajikistan from May 25 to 30, 2025. He will be in Turkiye on 25-26, in Iran on 26-27, in Azerbaijan on 27-28, and then will reach Tajikistan on May 29. The Prime Minister will hold wide-ranging discussions with the leaders of these countries on bilateral relations and issues of regional and international importance. He will thank the friendly countries for the support extended to Pakistan during the recent crisis with India. The Prime Minister will also attend the International Conference on Glaciers in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, on May 29-30, 2025.
