Dhoom 3 Review – Aamir Khan at his baddest but still convincing

Dhoom 3 social review

As promised by Amir khan that his negative role will capture audience’s sympathy in Dhoom 3. It is very rare that you come across Bollywood movies that have superb content beautifully filmed. Dhoom 3 fulfilled audience’s expectation with ultra cool, visuals, in terms of action and stunts.  As per initial information Dhoom 3 is being played on 56 screens across Pakistan making more then 1.2 million just from Atrium Cinema Karachi on the opening.

Filmed in Chicago, Dhoom 3 makes your jaw drop to your knees in first half of the story. So now the question would be, whats the story ?  Beginning in December 1990 Great Indian Circus in Chicago is mortgaged at the Western Chicago Bank. Iqbal (Jackie Shroff), the Circus owner manged perfect magic trick so that he can triumph banker’s heart to but loses the bait  and attempt a suicide just because he was failed to save his circus from his debtors.

Years later, Iqbal’s son – Sahir (Aamir Khan) plans to take revenge  the Western Chicago Bank for being the major reason of his father’s death. As a part of the plan he starts robbing the Western Chicago Bank. With the stolen money, Sahir successfully manage to start up the great Indian  circus once again. So being usual enough in Dhoom the thief is an Indian, the Bombay Police is called upon and they find ties  between Iqbal’s son Sahir’s involvement in the robbery. I won’t be telling any further about the story line because i want my readers to go and watch Dhoom 3 in cinema, if they want to know what happens in the end. I assure you that the end of the movie is very unpredictable and different.

No doubt that Aamir Khan played a very convincing negative role of a bad boy, but there was a big secret to his character which won’t be fun to reveal. Alya (Katrina Kaif) doesn’t have a strong role like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan  in Dhoom:2.  I am of a view that Katrina is just an add-on package to the movie just to add glamour, though her dance and acrobatics were amazing and stunning. Abhishek Bachchan was usual as he was in all the previous parts and how can i forget about mentioning the comic element of the movie Ali (Uday Chopra). I guess Dhoom film without  Ali would be like a Bollywood movie without an item number. The movie is quite long but it grips your attention so much that you forget about the duration.
