NationalDEMP holds Digital Photographic & Calligraphy Exhibition in connection with Iqbal Day

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: A Digital Photographic Exhibition and Calligraphy Competition was organised on Iqbal Day by the Directorate of Electronic Media and Publications (DEMP) at Information Service Academy on Thursday.

Senator Irfan Siddiqui inaugurated the exhibition.

A video produced by the DEMP Kalam-e-Iqbal was exhibited during the event. A Calligraphy Competition was organized by the DEMP to display Allama Iqbal’s poetry.

Senator Irfan Siddiqui distributed prizes and certificates among the winners.

Ms. Ayesha Zahid from Rawalpindi Women University secured first position while Ms. Abeer Sajid from Mashal Degree College secured second position. Ms. Mishall Gulzar from Mashal Degree College stood third whereas Ms. Bisma Shakeel from Roots International Renton College stood fourth.

The Federal Secretary Information Ms. Shahera Shahid, renowned author Mr. Talib Hussain Sial, the Director General DEMP Ms Imrana Wazir, the Director General DEMP Ms. Samina Farzin and other officials of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting were also present during the event.
