Lahore, Pakistan: Exhibiting the colors of Punjab while hosting over 100 international delegates from all over the world, the Second International Punjabi Conference started here on Monday.
The Conference will be addressed by 100 Punjabi personalities from various fields, including scholars, politicians, actors, singers, poets, and social activists from Pakistan, USA, Canada, India, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and the UAE. The agenda of the Conference also includes name of Sunaini Sharma who is the granddaughter of Surinder Kaur and the daughter of Dolly Guleria. Sunaini had several opportunities to sing “Mavan te dhiya ral biathya ni maye” along with her mother and grandmother globally and she has dedicated herself to preserving the tradition of a particular genre of Punjabi singing that was undoubtedly introduced by the Kaur Sisters over 80 years ago.
