ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Punjab Small Industries Corporation (PSIC) will establish the Handicrafts Souvenir Shop at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad.

In this regard, under the directions of the Managing Director PSIC Muhammad Tahir Watto, the Director Creative and Culture PSIC Yawar Mehdi along with the Regional Director Rawalpindi Raja Shabir and the Assistant Director Ms. Hinna visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and had a meeting with the Director-General Strategic Communications Ms. Saima Sayed and the Director Minister of Foreign Affairs Ms. Iqra Ashraf.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs admired the PSIC’s efforts to promote the artisans and their work and provide the market platform to these artisans through Handicrafts Development Centres, Artisan Villages, Women Rescuers Center, PHS, and Exhibitions at different Cities of Punjab.

Yawar Mehdi discussed the idea regarding the customized Authentic Handicrafts Souvenir display at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs like PSIC, PHS, and Souvenir Shop at the Parliament House in Islamabad.

The establishment of the Handicrafts Souvenir Shop at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is aimed at presenting Pakistan Culture & Crafts to dignitaries and ambassadors who visit the Ministry and also for convenience under the one roof master collection of Pakistan handicrafts and customized souvenirs for Pakistan’s Foreign Mission abroad to prompt the Pakistani handicrafts and artisans.
