Ottawa also stop working about summit of the G8 which was to be held in Sochi, Russia, said the head of the Canadian government, when Kiev has already come Sunday.

Canada strongly condemns Russia’s intervention in Ukraine, said Canadian Prime Minister, who earlier in the day spoke on the Russian military action in Ukraine with U.S. President Barack Obama, French President Francois Hollande and with colleagues, heads of government of the United Kingdom and Germany.

Harper said Canada recognizes the legitimacy of the current government of Ukraine, and Russia’s actions are a clear violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

Earlier,  Russian President Vladimir Putin categorically informed the United States during his 90 minute telephonic conversation with US President Barack Obama that Russia retains the right to protect is interests in Ukraine and Crimea.

US political scientists are of the view situation is tensed and President Obama can threaten to pull out of the G8 summit in Sochi in Russia and persuade others to do the same and also announce to throw Russia out of the G9 but he has nothing to offer to Ukraine.
