LAHORE: Three Mujahid force personnel were arrested on late Tuesday for quizzing a high police officer who was driving a car under the influence of liquor, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on Wednesday.
The police sources said that three personnel of Mujahid Squad, Ikram Nawaz, Farooq and Shafiq were on patrol in Gulberg area of the city when they found SSP Rana Salman Sultan in intoxicated state.
Following the incident, all the personnel were taken under custody by Mujahid Squad’s cops. While infuriated over the action, SSP lodged a case against the three personnel in Gulberg Police Station and detained them in lock-up.
