RAWALPINDI: An Anti-Narcotics Court in Rawalpindi on Friday ordered to frame charges against Ali Musa Gilani, son of former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, and former federal minister Makhdoom Shahabuddin on April 5 in ephedrine quota corruption case, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.

Anti-narcotics court’s judge Arshad Mehmood heard the case while both the accused were present in the court.

During the course of hearing, the court was informed that the main accused in the case, Tauqir Ali Khan, was arrested on Thursday by personnel of the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF).

The captive had been declared an absconder by the Islamabad High Court in the case and was arrested upon his return from Dubai.

The court also issued non-bail able warrants for ex-secretary health Khushnod Lashari and Anjum Shah.
