BAHAWALPUR: Acid threw on a girl and her mother over marriage dispute by relatives on Friday.
According to reports, three people entered the house of a girl, Aalia, and threw acid on her and mother, Safia Bibi, as she had refused to marry against her wish.
The incident occurred in Basti Malook Shah.
The girl and her mother were shifted to Victoria Hospital where doctors said that the 40% of Safia Bibi’s body was burnt while 25% that of her daughter, Aalia.
Police registered the case and started investigation.
