ISLAMABAD: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Islamabad on Tuesday issued summons to call 18 witnesses from the prosecution in the judges’ detention case against the former president Pervez Musharraf.

It may be mentioned that ATC Judge Kausar Abbas Zaidi during a hearing on June 15 ordered the prosecutor to submit evidences. Following the orders, the court staff on Tuesday issued summons to 18 prosecution witnesses.

These witnesses, including 13 lawyers and five police officials, have been ordered to appear before the court on June 21 to record their statements. Among the police officials, a former investigator Hakim Ali Khan is included.
