SINGAPORE: The High Commission of Pakistan in Singapore and the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Singapore will organize a Webinar on “Investment Opportunities in CPEC related Special Economic Zones (SEZs) in Pakistan” on Thursday.

In the Webinar, the High Commissioner of Pakistan to Singapore Ms. Rukhsana Afzaal, and the Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Singapore Mr. Zhang Xumin will deliver the opening remarks.

The Chairman CPEC Authority Lt General (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa and the Director-General of China’s National Development and Reform Commission Mr. Ying Xiong will make keynote speeches.

It will be followed by a penal discussion featuring the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad Mr. Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri, and the Director-General of the Overseas Economic Cooperation Department and Acting DG of the Post-Project Evaluation Centre, China International Engineer Consulting Corporation Mr. Du Zhenli.

The panelists will also include the Secretary Board of Investment (Pakistan) Ms. Fareena Mazhar, the Vice President Singapore-China Business Association Mr. Kho Choon Keng, the Regional General Manager Habib Bank Limited (HBL), Singapore Mr. Farhan Talib, and the Vice-Chairman of the Belt & Road Committee, China Enterprises Association (Singapore) Chen Wei Hao.

In the end, a question-answer session will be held.
