ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The federal government has decided to enhance cooperation among the universities of Pakistan and China under the ongoing China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.

The official sources informed the state-run news agency in Islamabad on Friday that a Chinese delegation would reach Islamabad to participate in the conference scheduled on August 27, where the modalities of cooperation would be discussed.

The conference titled “CPEC Consortium of Business Schools” will continue from August 27 to 30.

According to details, the Chinese delegation will visit Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, COMSAT Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) and Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU) Islamabad.

The universities from both of the Countries would play their vital role in the China-Pak Economic Corridor (CPEC), the sources added.

The Chairman HEC Dr Mukhtar Ahmad and the President China Association of Higher Education would address the conference, they added.

The conference will have six sessions, three on day first, three on second day, while on the last day the Chinese delegation would visit the Pakistani universities.

The sources revealed that Pakistani students would also be provided a role in completion of CPEC projects so they could learn different expertise.

During the sessions of the conference, Pak-China Business Schools would inform about their experiments.

The topics of Industry, Food and Security would also be discussed in the conference.
