COVID-19 vaccine registration for people aged 30 & above to open on...

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The registration of citizens aged 30 and above for the COVID-19 vaccination program will be open from May 16, 2021 (Sunday), according to the Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Asad Umar.

“As vaccine supply continues to improve and vaccination capacity gets enhanced in all Federating units, we continue to expand the categories of those who are eligible to get vaccinated. Starting Sunday the 16th of May, registration will be open to all 30 years and older citizens,” Asad Umar said in a tweet on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the walk-in vaccination facility for all registered citizens of 40 years of age and above has opened from today.

Earlier on May 11, 131,571 COVID-19 vaccines were administered to people across the Country while till now, a total of 3,883,884 vaccines have been administered.

In the last 24 hours, 104 more deaths occurred due to Coronavirus infection, and 2,869 new positive cases were reported in the Country.
